These bars utilize the Simplici traditional (non-vegan) recipe, which was inspired by the Appalachian soap making tradition. The result is a hard, long-lasting soap. Combining saponified lard and coconut oil produces a thick natural lather that will leave your skin squeaky clean.
Most Simplici soaps are naturally scented with pure essential oils - and there also are a few varieties with no added scent. Plant pieces and powders add color, herbal and exfoliating properties. Textures range from smooth to scratchy to chunky. The smooth bars can double as shaving soap.
